Activities, dash, top bar… What are they?
An overview of terms used to describe different parts of the desktop.
Calendar appointments
Display your appointments in the calendar at the top of the screen.
Log out, power off or switch users
Learn how to leave your user account, by logging out, switching users, and so on. Notifications and the message tray Messages pop-up at the bottom of the screen telling you when certain events happen.
The Lock Screen
The decorative and functional lock screen conveys useful information.
What do the icons in the top bar mean?
